Commissioned to project manage this new build by the client after work had started with foundations completed and project costs soaring. A difficult cliff top site with a beautiful but challenging design, requiring very careful organisation and contract structures. Working closely with a good London based firm Coffey Architects, specialist consultants and good local contractors to bring in the right solutions to this very exposed and geologically challenging site.

Sourcing the best local materials and hand picked contractors as well as the right national suppliers of materials and products for this windswept site with stunning views. The house sits carefully within this landscape and it's innovative build structure and use of materials is built to last, through lashing winter gales and baking hot summer days, keeping the owners in peace and comfort.

The careful use of Solar PV, ASHP (Air Sourced Heat Pump), good insulation with top grade windows and doors, all help to make this house sustainable and ready for the C21st and it's climate challenges.

Landscaping designs by one of the countries best designers with it's emphasis on sustainability and wildlife enhancement is a large part of this exemplar project.

Carefully and responsibly managed to a budget, this is no runaway indulgence; it is a close client partnership of project consultation and management, informing and making joint decisions.
